Greg Mulherin is the Vice President of Newell Machinery Company. Newell Machinery Company is an industrial construction company and a manufacturer of custom conveyor systems specializing in the agricultural sector. Newell Machinery employs roughly 100 people in manufacturing jobs as well as construction and industrial maintenance. Newell Machinery is active with Kirkwood Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing Sector Board, where Greg currently holds the Vice Chair position. Additionally, Greg performs several talks per year at middle and high schools addressing the potential careers for students showcasing the industrial arts and in general STEM based skills. Additionally, Greg sits on several advisory committees and panels for Kirkwood Community College regarding welding careers. Greg is also currently the Chairman as management representative of the Millwrights Local 2158 Apprenticeship Committee where candidates are selected to be part of the learning program.
